Micro Enterprise Child Care Program

Posted on January 10th, 2013.

Funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, the Micro-Enterprise Child Care Program will teach refugee women about state and federal child care laws, regulations and licensing requirements and about American cultural norms concerning child care and child development. Family Child Care is a positive way to impact the community by providing quality care to women seeking culturally relevant services while creating an avenue to self-sufficiency for the providers themselves.

The Alliance does the following to assist clients with this business venture:

√ Walk through the Licensing procedures and cover Licensing costs!

√ Offer FREE courses on Child Development, Positive Discipline, Working with Parents, Building your Business, and Marketing!

√ Provide Small Loans to cover start-up costs

√ Connect clients to other women who have their own successful Family Child Care businesses!

√ Provide support to assure success!!
