The Alliance for African Assistance offers a wide range of services tailored to supporting underprivileged and immigrant communities. Through our programs we hope to not only empower, but to also provide opportunities, support and guidance. VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who make $54,000 or less and need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. Alliance for African Assistance hosts a VITA Site and has IRS-certified volunteers providing free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. 

 

 Do it yourself - for free: we also offer a computer station and the assistance you need  to file your State and Federal Tax Return for free!

Wilson-Fish Program

 The Wilson-Fish (WF) program is an alternative to traditional state administered refugee resettlement programs for providing assistance (cash and medical) and social services to refugees.
