The Alliance for African Assistance offers a wide range of services tailored to supporting underprivileged and immigrant communities. The CalFresh Program, federally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or (Food Stamp) can add to your food budget to put healthy and nutritious food on the table. The program issues monthly electronic benefits that can be used to buy most foods at many markets and food stores.
Global Village Home Care provides quality and affordable Home Care services for the San Diego community. Our services are provided by passionate and skilled caregivers. We personalize our care to the needs of your family, offering you the balance of attention and independence you need to thrive.
The mission of the Home Based Child Care Program is to provide business opportunities to refugee women interested in providing child care services in their homes. Starting in October 2012, AAA has begun a Home Based Child Care program to help clients go through the necessary steps to receive their Family Child Care Licenses.
Since 1995, the Alliance for African Assistance has resettled refugees from over 20 different countries. Our Resettlement Department is comprised of case managers, drivers and job developers, all of whom play an integral role in the resettlement process for each of our refugees. Prior to a refugee’s arrival, the case manager assigned to the case prepares for the new individual or family by finding them an affordable apartment, furnishing the apartment with the basic necessities, and stocking their kitchen with food for their first week.
