Position: Full Time

• The Global Village Programs Manager will supervise the staff and operations of the Global Village Department.
• This positions manages the following programs: Global Village Language and Cultural Solutions, Global Village Home Care, Alliance Transport, Utility Advocacy, Child Scholarship, Volunteer and Intern Program, and oversee the agency-wide events, newsletter, social media, and donor communication.

Description of duties performed:

• Reporting: Report to the CEO and Board of Directors regarding the Global Village Department.
• Supervisory: Provide supervision, guidance, and performance evaluation of the staff working in the Global Village Department. Oversee the day-to-day functions of the department and execution of goals set.
Assist staff in their day-to-day activities and projects as needed to ensure everything is completed.
• Financial: Maintain the budget of the department and seek out funding sources to maintain a healthy budget. Track and report all income and spending for the department’s programs.
• Marketing: Develop and oversee execution of marketing plans to promote the work of the Global Village Programs, and track staff’s deliverables on outreach and fundraising. The Global Village Manager will be particularly involved in the execution of direct marketing for the Language and Cultural Solutions program.
• Program Development: Seek out opportunities to grow Global Village programs. Particular focus on generating new business for the Language and Cultural Solution program, and maintaining excellent relations with existing customers.
• Compliance: Work with management team to ensure the programs are operating in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards.
• Training: Find or provide relevant training opportunities for staff development. Oversee any training curriculum created for clients, and teach trainings as needed.
• Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate the agency-wide events as well as Global Village events.
• Public Relations: Supervise the agency-wide communications (social media, newsletter, website) and promote the work of AAA at various events and committee meetings.
• Other duties as the CEO may assign.


• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven program management and supervisory experience.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Able to multi-task and deliver results within tight deadlines. Excellent time-management skills required.
• Great inter-personal skills, must be a good communicator, having to represent AAA with potential and existing customers, and representing the department with higher management.
• Knowledge of the programs of the Global Village Department a plus.
